In the National Monuments Record of Wales’ Search Room and Library members of the public are able to consult the material stored in the archive. Drawings, maps, plans, photographs and aerial photographs, research reports and written accounts can all be viewed. Many documents can be photocopied if required, although some may be subject to copyright restrictions.
A reference library with open-access shelves is also available.

The NMRW Search Room and Library is situated close to the railway station in Aberystwyth and within walking distance of the National Library of Wales and the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. There is a free car park adjacent to the building.
