The BBC Wales television series Hidden Histories, narrated by Huw Edwards, follows the work of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales, which is 100 years old. Each episode follows Commission staff as they undertake three investigations of Wales’s past through its rich legacy of archaeological sites, landscapes and historic buildings. The series covers all parts of Wales and ranges from prehistory to the Second World War. Lots more information is available about the sites featured in the series, as well as many others, in the Episode Guides and the online database Coflein.
