The Royal Commission Research Reports are discrete pieces of research providing detailed accounts of the history and development of specific sites. They are produced in-house by the Royal Commission and relate to archaeological and architectural investigations undertaken as part of the Royal Commission’s Survey Programme.
The production of detailed reports in an electronic format as downloadable PDF files from this site is a new development by the Royal Commission and we hope that this format will enable us to make the interpretation of the results of the investigations available to the public more rapidly than was previously possible.
