Working at RCAHMW

The Royal Commission has a permanent staff of around thirty-five people who work full time or part time at its offices in Aberystwyth. Over many years the Commission has developed a skilled and highly qualified workforce and it has become a recognised centre of excellence in heritage fields. Most staff fulfil specialist roles, for example in archive administration, archaeology, photography, graphics, education, architectural history or information management. Their work is guided by the Secretary of the Commission and by its Chairman and Commissioners. A full current [1-5-1]staff list is available.

Any vacancies are advertised in the press and on this website, including occasional opportunities for temporary appointments. The Commission also seeks to offer work experience, training placements and opportunities for volunteers.

For further information please contact the [1-5-1]Human Resources Officer, Steve Bailey John.
