Research Interests The early workers housing of Wales and the Welsh Slate industry. The medieval chronicles of Britain with an emphasis on material found in English and continental sources concerning Wales. The historiography of the study of early medieval Wales. The development of the Arthurian Legend in Britain with a particular emphasis on the topography and placenames associated with the legend. The mapping of placenames found in medieval Welsh sources utilising GIS and databases.
